Skype has killed my data allowance on iphone

be warned

set it to off under mobile network/cellular data for skype as it is using too much data even when not being used as here. 100 mb in 1 day for just being connected to skype..

If you use skype i'm surprised you don't have an unlimited data plan.

A 100mb allowance is appalling in this day and age.

I've got Skype running in the background of both my iPhone 5s and HTC one, I've never noticed any extra data use on either, certainly not 10s or 100s of MB's.

I have skype too and had no bother at all but mind you if you are using apps like skype then you should have unlimited internet.
Try 3 PAYG all data plan

Indeed, especially as that amount is barely 12MB.
