Roco65 - you are reacting exactly as the Parking companies want - panicking, scared and fearful due to not knowing/understanding what these rip-off merchants can and can't do.

They will send plenty more letters as THEY WANT YOUR CASH - the fact that the whole thing is a scam will not divert them from trying to frighten you more.

You will defeat them by following the advice you have been given.

They cannot justify the charges they are demanding. You will win - but only by playing the game according to the set appeal rules.

There is no instant stop or overturning of this.

Yep I know don't worry about me I'm in a much better frame of mind today they can honestly do one to be frank. It's an absolute mockery that they can attempt to do this to people. It's praying on people conscience at the end of the day which is simply not on. It's great that a group of people like you guys exist to help us mere mortals!

I've been there again and took some pictures (reluctant to give too much info). Shop keep told me that it's owned by ncp? Looks like I'm firing off a few letters tomorrow.

EDIT: Well, according to their website they don't have that car park. I've had enough now I'm gonna leave it til tomorrow.

I don't think the shop are correct then. NCP, being a private parking management company, are hardly likely to hire another private parking company to manage their own car park !

My thoughts exactly. I'm gonna ring them up tomorrow or some of the other shops. Just gonna forget about it now for the evening.

So it's been a long time now, we had a response from them rejecting the appeal, just left it alone, had another one dropping the fine, left it alone and haven't heard a thing in 4 months. Thanks to all.
