A friend of mine got her daughter's form checked and OK'd, but it was rejected as she was wearing a t-shirt with narrow straps, which is apparently not acceptable. I wonder whether the reason is that it might not be accepted in countries that expect women to be covered?0

I PAID THE 7.50 FOR CHECK AND SEND VIA POST OFFICE LAST WEEK . THAT WAS ON A MONEY AND I RECEIVED NEW ONE ON THE THURSDAY !!!personally i would get it checked so then you know for sure it is not going to come back due to a mistake. £7.50 for peace of mind for you holiday is small price to pay.
i made 3 mistakes on mine that i was sure was correctly filled in. fortunatly the post office picked them up and i had my new passport a week later.0 -
Just a quick update for anyone interested. The passport did arrive in time and my DD has just phoned me from France.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:
