February has been a bit of a write off for me, don't have a clue where the month has gone, which is annoying after a good January on this challenge.

But back and raring to go for March - £10 a day for me please

That's right. I'm about where I should be today, but yesterday morning I was still short of that figure by some way. I suppose it has to be about what the daily averages add up to otherwise a lot of us (me, certainly!) would fall at the first day and end up totally disgruntled and demoralised by participating. That's definitely not what it's all about - thanks to the inspiration and motivation supplied by everyone on the thread, I've not felt this gruntled and moralised in the longest time :D

Daily deadlines would be too much pressure, but after yesterday I can totally see the value of the monthly deadline. It was seeing it looming so closely and realising that while it was unlikely I'd make my target, it was still possible that made me put what I could behind a final push. I still might get there yet. I love this thread (and am only saying so for about the five-hundredth time!). It's proof to me that people are a lot more capable of drawing on limited resources when offered practical suggestions and encouragement rather than stiff red letters and threatening phone calls.

Proof of the obvious, really. Debt collectors everywhere will be supplying survey links, info about eBay free listing days and virtual hugs as soon as they catch on :rotfl:
