Although I have a handful of good reliable hand creams, nothing can beat Neutrogena for when my hands are at their worst.
  • OK well there's always one isn't there and this time it's me !

I used to use the 'old' white Neutrogena and loved it . This newer clear stuff does nothing at all for me.

I really wish it worked for me I've got 5 tubes of the stuff and being MSE have to use them all, can't chuck them away !

I'm not a giant fan of the Body Shop Hemp either. God knows I'd pay good money for a hand cream that did the job for me.

If only I could get on with rubber gloves , but I hate them too !
  • Clarins is great.
A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

    one life, live it!

Use it on your feet and elbows! That is what I do when I get lumbered with rubbish hand cream!

Neutrogena, unscented, works great for me when I do housework without using gloves
  • Another vote for Neutrogena here. Nothing compares.

yep that's what I do :). I'm another one that uses body shop hemp hand cream.

Also an offer in Crabtree & Evelyn that you can swap and old handcream for a new one if you have a store near you?:D
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time
  • wow thanks everyone, theres a lot of options here for me to try :)

Gloves would drive me mad cos id be having to put them on and take them off constantly when making beds and hoovering too etc.

Atm i'm using diprobase now as we have a huge bottle from when my daughter had eczema that we barely used and while its very greasy to begin with it soaks in lovely and my hands aren't feeling too bad right now x

My hands just get wrecked and bleed at the sight of cleaning products so my Mum bought me some cream called Conotrane, which I think is from the pharmacy in Boots and is really fir nappy rash.
It smells a bit lavenderish (in a not very nice way) and is very greasy - BUT magically fixes my skin overnight.
I actually prefer the not doing any housework option though ;-)
