Hi all,
I got off to a good start this month as had big Tesco shop yesterday - got £10.74 savings with promos and bogofs. Also had Pampers voucher for £2. To complete my savings extravaganza, received 5p off a litre of fuel at the checkout - result! The petrol voucher saved me £2.60. Total: £15.34
Good luck everyone,

Shortie well done, my boys like frozen yogurt treats aswell pleased to hear your DS does too, so hard when they can't have certain foods etc isn't it.
With the patches etc here they are done on prescription too but you still have to pay the prescription costs from what I know of. Also limited to what you can have, patches or gum only, none of our GPs will prescribe the tablet form stuff.
Good luck to PMS savers new and regularsOne day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200

Doing well so far; packed lunches going fine, also cooking from scratch and using up stuff in cupboards and freezer.
JUNE PMS to bank today = £24 in shrapnel.
No other 'real' savings due to party but plenty of virtual savings, ie tesco clubcard tokens used for trip out with DS, BOGOFS to stock up cupboard etc.
Still trying to 'declutter' the finances before kicking off big savings.DEBT: £500 credit card £800 Bank overdraft
£14 Weekly food budget0 -
Needed cleanser, shampoo and cotton wool cleansing pads so decided to try Lydl and got all three for for under £3. Would have cost me about £10 so saved £7. Will try them and see. Not taking purse out with debit card in saving me a fortune and not missing what I would have bought.0

Saved myself £8 on medicines. Went in for some pain relief as DS2 poorly, lady in pharmacy said they could do it on prescription without seeing the GP by just calling through to the doctors to ok it, a pharmacy first scheme they are doing (probably because it takes 2 weeks to see a GP here). That's going in the PMS potOne day I might be more organised...........

Wow!! You are all doing just GREAT! :T :T :T
Stopping smoking: If you are doing it via your GP or a smoking cessation clinic, you *do* have to pay the prescription charge - but you only pay it ONCE. That will provide you with 12wks worth of patches (or gum or even the inhaler).
Haven't found much to boast about really - unless I count today. Dh is coming over and finally, *finally*, replacing 3 electric sockets that have been in a sorry state for longer than I care to mention  That will save me a tidy sum on calling in an electrician (bonus being ... *he* paid for the new sockets :j :j :j ) Don't know how much it would have cost, so difficult to put a virtual saving price on it - got to be worth the hm cake and a bite to eat that he'll get in return
Shortie - how are you making up those yogurt ice lollies?
Keep saving; keep tracking :T~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I'm definitely up for this challenge this month. Wayne has given up smoking (12 hours and 15 minutes so far). Of course, I had to buy the prescription for the nicotine inhalator at £6.85:eek:) but I'm saving £13 this week and £20 next week. The prescription will last for 2 weeks. I've got to make an appointment to see my doctor for chamonix(?sp), as it's doctor prescribed only, but my stop date is after 23rd July!

Thanks to all the inspiration I receive from threads such as this just like to say that we booked our flights for our trip to Canada this week which has been my big aim via OS living and challenges such as this. Haven't yet made any headway on the PMS front this month but have the weekly Mr T coming up and OH did manage to save £25 on a pair of shoes in the sale yesterday:j
