This mobile insurance deal gets good reviews. I'm not with the nationwide I'm with the hsbc but can I pay ten pound a month into the nationwide for the insurance?

No, as far as I know, you need to be approved for, and use, the Nationwide account. Not sure what level of use you'd need to make, but Nationwide previously closed one of my accounts with them that I wasn't using, so some account activity will be needed I think.

I have claimed on my nationwide mobile policy and it was good service, but £100 excess for iphones is still a bit of a hit. But you can cover multiple phones on it and there's other benefits too.
