  • Definately tell him,as you could have valuable info about the nature of this person. If he treated you badly through some sort of financial deal your husband needs to know now.Even if this bloke wasn't your ex and you knew things about him you would tell your husband,it's a natural response.Perhaps this is a part of your past that you've kept a secret from him and worried about his reaction,don't,........he's your husband. We all have pasts that we would rather forget,it's all part of the learning experiance of life.Tell him now and make sure you tell him everything,it's your past and your experiances that make you who you are today.Your worst case scenario is that someone else tells him,of course you know that.
  • Tell him, I've told my wife far worse.
Boris Johnson voted against Brexit in the Commons, all to become leader of the Conservative Party. Fall for it and you deserve everything you get.

Honesty is the best policy but you need to divorce yourself from any emotions when you let him know the facts relating to the business. Make sure you're telling him for the mutual benefit of his business not to seek revenge on your ex, which he could be doing if he knows you're the wife of the man he's about to employ.
  • You might need the money from the work - but it is far more sensible that your husband knows the potential implications before agreeing to get involved.

There are so many negatives - being your ex, the way you were treated, and the potential for being out of pocket through some twisted "revenge" against you.

At least let your husband know the facts about the job first, otherwise you could end up worse off!

Most importantly - there is the trust between you and your husband - if you didn't tell him, and he found out that its your ex... god only knows what impact that could have in the short and long-term

    Yes, with caveats.
Your husband needs to know this client is your ex.
Answer any further questions he has.

Hope your husband does an excellent job, gets professional praise, makes a healthy profit & has the last laugh.
