Looks like I'm going to be by myself soon as everyone is moving over to June, I'm just starting week 3 of "May".

Spends to declare - £2.88 at Sainsburys yesterday and a £48.80 on a Riverford fruit, veg and meat box. In theory this is supposed to serve 3-4 people for 1 week, I haven't had it before so it'll be interesting to see if it does. I get the 3rd one free so I will give it at least 3 boxes only getting one a month though.

Total spent now £234.96 but have to go out today (or tomorrow) for milk and bread.

I am declaring the end of the month at £252.91. £2.91 over but I am ok with that as I started the month about £20 down so would have been under if it wasn't for that! I've worked really hard thus month so not going to beat myself up about it! Done lots of meals from scratch and done quite a bit of baking! My freezer is full with mainly home cooked ready meals. My cupboards are quite well stocked too! My first month that I am happy with. No more grocery spending needed so I am heading over to June. See you all there x

Back from shopping, have to rejig tonight's menu as things have gone a bit wrong and don't have time to cook what I was planning plus I have salad leftover to use up before I use the new salad. Having omelette and salad instead. Spent £11.84 at Asda including some non essentials - magnum ice creams on offer and cookies - lol

Just milk tomorrow from grocery budget then hopefully nothing for a couple of days at least!

Hello supersaver1000! You're more than welcome to join! It may be better, though, if you have a shifty over to the June thread, as most folks have left here now.

I'm very cross with myself, but not at all surprised. I spent all month being good, and I mean really good, then I blew it yest. So typical! Will report back when I've added up totals.

signature updated with spends from yesterday. not declaring final spend just yet, as I'll be down around the local stores in a couple of hours (OH wants to wander down for something) and there's always a risk that something will catch my eye smiley-rolleyes010.gif

£2 spent on milk and bread, so just under £10 over budget for the month.
GC: £40 a week. Sticking to my budget, but never remembering to post in the relevant thread.
Probably buying toiletries that I don't need, as I can't resist a "bargain."
