Hubby announced yesterday that he wants to go away at the weekend. It's going to be a great weekend and we had nothing planned so seems a perfect opportunity!
This does mean that I wouldn't get the shopping done at the weekend so had to go today. Spent over £50 in farmfoods to use the £5 voucher. Just hope the fresh stuff lasts for week next week!
Really pleased with the grocery spends this month still got about £80 left and only one shopping trip to go! I hope!Grocery challenge-

I ended up going in after all yesterday, as Lovely Daughter remined me that she wanted a food processor for her birthday - caught one of the last 2 at Li&l's! Got a few bananas and Pretzels as a treat for her as she was quite upset after her exam

I've blown my imaginary budget which should see me at £1,000 spent this year by end of May as I've just been running around like a mad thing, I have failed to plan and had three takeaways in 2 weeks, mind you we did split one meal between us! And yesterday I was treated to a lovely free v posh Indian meal. For anyone who read my link I posted earlier about our experience of hospital care, I was on the news a fair bit earlier this week, quite a couple of days x0

£3.40 spend yesterday on bread, milk and a coffee cake (had extra points voucher for the cake and it was on offer.)GC: £40 a week. Sticking to my budget, but never remembering to post in the relevant thread.
Probably buying toiletries that I don't need, as I can't resist a "bargain."
