Inspired Energy/EnergiSave Online ANNOYING!!!

My business is constantly being harassed over the phone by this company called energisave online and they keep offering to help renew my current electricity contract.

I am more than happy with Opus being my current supplier having been put to them through a while ago. I told them this but they kept calling me regarding my contract and I keep saying i'm not interested.

Due to this, I begin to search the Internet to see if they do this to other people and low and behold:

whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/01772674300#p537193863383494890

The company is owned by a woman called Janet Thornton who also owns another company called Inspired Energy which funnily enough have the same business address on Companies House.

Why are they able to harass me when if they're owned by the same person and i'm on the same database - they know i'm happy with my current contract?

What do they want from me and how can I stop it? Please help!! I'm spending more time on the phone that actually running my shop :( Thanks for all replies :)

  • I can sympathise with claire2k1. I have received over ten unwanted calls - I have repeatedly told them to stop calling but they don't seem to get the message.

It is very frustrating and I am now considering getting this caller blocked but that will cost money...
  • I am actually with a different supplier to Opus Energy (this must there be their favourite supplier) and so they call me in order to get me to switch.

I receive calls from EnergiSave Online so I haven't really dealt with Inspired as of yet.

Anyway, they call up saying who they're from and then tell me that the current contract i'm on isn't the cheapest!!!

At this point I know they're only after a sale and so I ignore them and put the phone down. Do they not take the hint?

Desperate sales tactics if you ask me!!!!

Yeah, i've noticed that they aren't the most helpful company. They seem to try and bully businesses into going to suppliers through them 'offering' you the 'cheapest' deal
  • I can sympathize with you claire, companies will do whatever it takes to try and get an extra customer, regardless of who you are.

Have you tried blocking their number? Not that you should have to bother doing steps such as this, I receive several phone calls a day from hoax callers/salesmen so i know how it feels.
  • Feeling sorry for Claire2k1.
  • sorry to hear ur situations...

this is not the best solution i hope and u may not have to do it.. but recently i read a article that some guy made money from calls that were constantly harrsing him by getting a new special telephone number that charges the caller the longer the more they are charged...made a lot of money too..

    hope it helps:beer: cheers
