Orange mobile coming to end of contract

Hi, I wonder if someone can answer my, hopefully short question.
I finish my 2 year contract with orange on the 21st Feb 2014. I have asked for and received my MAC code to keep my number.
Yesterday I signed up to a new contract with o2, have my phone and new number etc.
What happens if i use my MAC code today (2 days before the end of my contract with orange). Do i just have to pay until the end of my contract what I would have paid anyway if i had not cancelled (ie line rental package up until the 21st), or is there some sort of additional fee for ending my contract early.
Also, I have to give a months notice, did that start from the day I requested my MAC code or from the day I use it?
I hope this makes sense, and thanks.

Hi, it's a PAC code, a MAC code is for a broadband connection

If you use your PAC code before the end of your minimum term , you will pay until the end of your minimum term (21/2)
Pyle say that your contract "ends". Did you give them your thirty days notice? If yes, and then you requested your PAC, the latter over rides the 30 day notice, so if you don't use it, you will continue to be billed. You can't do both.
If you didn't give your 30 days notice, your contract does not "end", you need to give them your 30 days notice to terminate the line OR gets PAC and use it.
Once your contract has been terminated, you will receive a final bill from Orange.0 -
thanks that makes sense, I didn't give 30 days notice, just requested and received the PAC code.
I will use my PAC code today and just pay remaining two days of orange contract until the 21/2. A few days isnt here not there i guess in the grand scheme of things.0
