Hi
I am transferring from BT Infinity 2 to Plusnet Fibre on Friday - they have told me that I don't need an engineer visit as the BT Openreach Modem will be there already - so do I just plug in the Plusnet Router that they send on friday when they tell me into the WHITE BT OPENREACH MODEM ?? and hopefully that should be it?
Thanks in advance - they have assured me an engineer won't call, was a bit worried as I didn't want to miss and engineer by nobody being in.

You may well need to enter your Plusnet login details into the router as it probably won't come preconfigured. I don't know for sure as I used my own router.
You will have picked a userid and password when you signed up. You'll need to set the router to PPPoE and the login will be in the format...
[your userid]@plusdsl.net and [your password]
The MTU should default to 1492 but if it doesn't them set it to that.
I'm guessing you should get some operating guide with the router that will tell you haw to do that.0
