    Recently took my niece (aged 3) to see 101 Dalmatians and it was brilliant!

    Charlie and the Chocolate factory is fab IMO and suitable for primary school aged children. Just make sure you get there early as they only have a limited amount of booster seats.

  • I've taken my 3 year old to see Charlie and Lola, and Stickman at a local university theatre; cheap and he loved both.
    2014: My hardest financial times ever as I complete my degree, and begin a Masters in September. I can do this!

  • It might be helpful if you told us where you live, OP. And how old your children are - shows suitable for 10 and 11 year olds, might bore a 5 year old.

    If London is an option, have a look at the Unicorn Theatre. It is a Childrens' theatre with productions for different ages. I would highly recommend it. https://www.unicorntheatre.com/whatson
