  • I agree with AndyBSG that this thread could really do with a higher-calibre troll than this skitler fellow.

I call it a road excise licence, do you have one or not, on yer bike.:rotfl:

I have one on my car and one on my motorbike, but you get cars and motorbikes that don't need to pay for one. And roads are funded out the general tax pot.

Don't need to pedal hard, it's much to cold to cycle tonight so I took the Volvo to the gym instead.

But you've been practicing for AGES on this thread, and if anything you've got worse at it. You sound like you've just wandered in drunk, halfway through a conversation and got entirely the wrong end of the stick, and are making in-jokes to people who have no idea who you are.

It doesn't need to be illegal. This isn't your site, so you cannot just act in a disrespectful manner and in a way that is detrimental to other users without expecting some sort of consequences. I expect your email address, IP, etc is held by the admin team, and they're more than capable of banning whoever they like (me included) for whatever reason they see fit.

and your complaining to me is going to do what?

Can you stay please? I'm enjoying you contribution to this thread.

be careful what you ask for, you might just get it.

Stay, don't stay. No skin off my nose either way. I just find it odd that you take such pleasure in being wrong. I'm certainly not going to lose any sleep because someone on the internet disagrees with me. However, If you are going to engage in conversations with grown ups I think you'll find yourself out of your depth.

thanks for allowing me to decide whether I stay or not, and im glad your nose never suffered or your sleep pattern. ive looked for the academic section in cycling and it was blank so ive lowered my standards, so if you don't understand the gist perhaps its you that should seek further education.

...although I will snigger if I ever see a cyclist riding a pedal cycle in full body armour and crash helmet :)

Did have a small snigger at the cyclist 30 seconds into this YouTube clip... :)

And since I dragged this thread up, I'll take the opportunity to say how pleasant commuting by bike has been this month. Lots of sun, hardly any rain, ideal for March. Although I did feel a little sorry for an angry man I was near the only time this month I took a train, clearly irate at the rush hour crowding. And several car drivers seem to get excessively stressed at having to sit in traffic in the nice weather. Still, self-inflicted for most part :)
