Dusty, we're doing a 2000 mile road trip around California (with a bit of Nevada and Arizona thrown in for good measure!). We're going San Francisco, Yosemite, Lone Pine, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Barstow, L.A, San Simeon and then one night near the airport at San Francisco.

Bossy, thanks for the hint about the sponges. Yes, they're the one's I was thinking of.

    In that case.....

Wow all for £1200 that is some bargain, where did you get your flights from? Are the kids going too. I'm amazed you can do it for that price after going there 2 years ago.

  • I'm in too! Thanks to Natty for the list.:)

I've done a bit in the kitchen today - wiped all the sides & put away all the gibble. The bedroom isnt too bad so I'll leave that for the 'kitchen day' ;)

Aah, um, no the £1200 is for the accommodation :o. Sorry for the miscommunication. Flight were £3200 for the 4 of us. Car's going to be about £400. Just breaking the elements down into separate parts to pay for it a bit at a time.
Kids coming too, they're getting very excited. It's going to be a full on trip though and we'll be shattered when we get home.

Kaz your trip sounds amazing. My DH and I have done something similar in NZ but before we had kids!

Should be an easier day for me as cleaning the bathroom is DH only cleaning job, will S&S the bathroom but leaving the scrubbing for him! I will tackle our hotspots instead as they are bad again with me being poorly last week.

Have a good day everyone x
