So far today I have
cleaned bathroom
changed shower curtain and washed minging one
sorted out stuff (toiletries) in airing cupboard and rearranged them reusing a hanging basket organiser thingy that I had in the bathroom and have now reused in the airing cupboard
dusted and tidied lounge and dining room
now preparing to tackle my desk
I keep repeating this affirmation to get myself going
I feel good knowing that only I control my thinking and actions.

Thank you Mrs MP, it has arrived - dot-to-dotting will be taking place from about 3.30 pm (ish).
Honey Bear: Sleep vibes being sent your way for tonight - my sleeping isn't too bad ATM, but when I've had a night like that, then I make sure to go to bed earlier than usual the following night, accompanied with a warm drink - it usually works.
Right, onwards with the dotting .........0 -
I had a very lazy day yesterday (well I am on holiday
). Today I decided action was needed - and the car is in the garage so we are housebound anyway.
I have: dusted and hoovered DS1s bedroom, gathered up his washing, changed his sheets. Walked and then bathed the dog. Cleaned the bathroom, including washing the floor. Dusted and hoovered our bedroom, dusted and hoovered the living room. Hoovered the stairs. Done mountains of washing, including all the doggie bedding and the throw off the sofa. Made a stew for another nights tea and put a roast in the oven.
Havent touched the kitchen yet, and the floor is filthy (actually so is the utility room). I am now running out of steam.
I am having a little coffee break then I will at least get the kitchen floor hoovered.
Hoping the car is fixed (and doesnt cost the earth) then we might go to the coast tomorrow and have chips on the seafront.
Right .. more hoovering.0 -

Fizzwhizz, Ionafan, Honeybear and Bossymoo.......sorry I haven't been lurking but it's nice to be missed.
BD has been doing the rounds to members of the Skint Pitz, DD2 was brought home to throw sticks at her BD for a long weekend. the young Skints Dad needs hernia op, but considering we were looking at the big C, that is quite a relief.
Just a bit worn out and trying to take charge of my own physical health, but house needs to be got on top again......so I will get a brew and then look at the list for the week and see what can go.
I will try get back into lurking, and rest my wings a bit longerThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -
I've managed some further work on rearranging the available cupboard space to make it easier for me to get to things now that my hands seem to be getting progressively worse. It's going to be a WIP for quite a while, because there's going to be a fair bit of trial and error; also I need to free up some space by using up some supplies that won't be replaced, or if they are, in not such large quantities; also deciding on things to send to the CS (salad spinner that hasn't been used in literally years has gone in the CS box). But it's progress.:o
I think the current CS box is full, so the plan is for Mr LW to take it to Newport Pagnell on Saturday, and pop into Wyrdo's for some incense sticks at the same time, as we're nearly out.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Big drum roll please ...... done my ironing unprompted!
Also washed up and wiped down worktops. Now DD and her friend are cooking gerbil treats in there but I've told them to clear up after themselves .... time will tell what happens on that.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0
