I have only got 2 months of my contract left at £11.50 a month for broadband and £15.99 line rental yet today i asked how much to leave early and was told nearly £70.
How can a company rip off a customer for 10 years as much.
Told them the figure was wrong but indian call centre would not back down.
Will now let contract run final 2 months and never deal with them again

If you are a customer of 10 years why are you still in a minimum term? If it was because you accepted some deal or other are you 100% certain you weren't put on an 18 month minimum contract and not a 12 month one?0

New 12 month offer. Contract ends may but already paid march in current bill so only leaves 2 months0

Sounds to me like they hadn't taken that payment into consideration. BT are still one of the more expensive ISPs though with little to recommend them. When you move don't forget to use a cashback site (Quidco TopCashBack)0

What do you think it should be ? two full months = £55, BT is saying nearly £70, they are not too far apart.0

Im moving from BT to Plusnet as we speak using the 100 quid Cashback from Quidco to offset the charges, mine also ends in May, stuff it I have had enough of the high charges,:jBetter to light a candle than to curse the darkness. :beer:0

Hardly conning cheats. I'm sure if they decided to cease your service mid-contract you'd have something to say about it.0
