    I still think that they belong to a lamp either for a candle or a gas-lamp fitting.

    They look remarkably like that.

    Have you got an auction house nearby? I`d try selling them there, fittings for oil lamps usually do OK. If that is what they are???

    I am a respectable old lady which means I am old enough to know that lamp chimneys are made of very thin glass.
