Sorry, I should have made it clear there are no bottoms, the mystery items are tubular though with a lip at one end, the top in the photo,




though it may be upside down.

There is a label stuck on saying "The Glass Shop".

Weight is quite heavy for a lamp chimney, over a kilogram.

Is it not something that goes around a candle. You have a bowl with that sand stuff in and in that you put a candle. This glass thing then goes into the sand enclosing the candle.

No, I genuinely don't know what they are and would like to get rid of them, preferably according to purpose rather than just in the Council's bottle bank.

They are a bit big for a cucumber, far too big for a man
and a bit tall for a standard candle, being 4.5 inches across and 13 inches high.

I did use them round a couple of strawberry plants but it was a job to make the two fit, so I don't think that is their purpose.
