First week I've put these on here. Usually plan a bit but it all goes awry the days I'm at work.

    Today:
Braised turkey leg (£2 Farmers Market bargain!!) with Yorkshire Puds, roast pots, roast beetroot and celeriac and homegrown peas. Frozen peas and sweetcorn for children. Gravy.

    Monday:
Turkey and veg soup with granary bread and side salad.
Children: Mash, tuna and frozen peas and corn.

    Tuesday: (veg box day)
Stir fry - pepper, onion, courgette, carrot and spring onion with rice
Children: beans on toast with cheese

    Wednesday:
My mums birthday tea. So whatever jumps in to my trolley in M&S on my way home on Wednesday.

    Thursday:
Mackerel Fillets (in freezer), mash, flat beans and spinach
Children: Fish fingers, mash, flat beans and frozen veg.

    Friday:
Roast Veg (Aubergine, pepper, carrot, onion) with pasta or cous cous.
Children: bacon and cheese with pasta or cous cous, frozen veg.

    Puddings are fruit or yoghurts
Lunches are salad and pittas/bagels, home made chickpea dip or gaucamole.
    Or leftovers.

Dont panic hun. At least you have noted what you have spent and that shows that you are oganised! Did you meal plan this past month? How many does that feed? Do you buy alot of organic or free range?

Keep your chin up, there is always this month:D

You have alot on your plate, so dont beat yourself up about it;) ....think of what you have already achieved rather than what you havent! Remember...little baby steps are easier anyway, and not so much shock to the system.

What about starting with a list of food/items you have in already and make a couple of days of meals from what you already have. You are doing very well with your garden growing.

    Hugs
