Halifax accounts disappeared online!

No account details available online today for either DH or I - is this maintenance or problems with their system again?

My Reward and Clarity accounts are showing, but they did disappear for a while recently when Halifax carried out maintenance.

My current and savings accounts are shown. But the credit card is not. A courtesy message saying they are doing maintenance would be nice.

Mine has now reappeared with some changes. The logo is now matching the card I have (Clarity) and the transaction also shows the location line from the statement, which never appeared previously. Direct debit amendment is now possible online.

That's a relief then - luckily I keep detailed spreadsheets and rec regularly but still like to check in case of fraud etc.

Just rechecked - all back online and as glider says you now have several choices on DDM payment which is excellent.

ALL back online alright, even a credit card account that I closed and destroyed the card of about two years ago!

It appears we've all been moved onto the Lloyds system overnight. The payment screen now shows the Lloyds Bank sort code (77-something) instead of the old Bank of Scotland one.

Maybe now we can finally get contactless cards as these were only available on the Lloyds system.....

Same here. Haven't checked my CRA files in a good while so better make a call to Halifax to ensure this card is actually closed.

If it isn't, that might explain the lack of a guaranteed card offer for some time now.

Checked Lloyds as well, but my old Advance card (obtained after the Halifax one) is not showing there, so looks like it's just Halifax with the glitch.

The only thing is, it now says 'Paper statements set up for this account'.

It took a long time before Halifax were prepared to give up their insistence on paper statements, I hope they aren't starting again. I'll leave it for the moment and see if any turn up.
  • I'm seeing someone elses credit card in my online banking!

There is a brand new entry for a card which isn't mine and of a type I don't have, with a different limit.
    Really strange.

    Will call them.
