I actually read all the terms and conditions when I signed up but didn't print them. I'm pretty sure they have all changed but I haven't been asked to sign or email to accept changed terms and conditions so don't know where I stand...0

You can only be bound by the terms and conditions you have agreed to. But when you previously said that you "didn't read the small print", how can you be sure exactly what you've really signed up to?
I don't know what you can do next, I'm afraid.0 -
I did "BROWSE" over the small print but didn't really read much into it. I have actually spoken to them a few times in the last few weeks and feel a little more reassured since speaking to them.0

Have you actually signed a contract that has the T & C's on?0

OK, i have a update from sky mediator today as follows:-
They basically have taken nearly a year, to do what i had already done! What i feel terrible is that they have also sent other peoples claim responses via my email, click on the attached file to see what i mean!
Dear Mr Mathew Carroll,
Thank you for choosing SkyMediator to represent you in your claim for compensation against Monarch airline.
We have received a reply from the airline company which is attached to this email. Our technical team has advised that the chances of your claim succeeding in court is borderline. We have considered the resources needed to guarantee this success and the total costs far outweighs the commission we will receive if your claim succeeds. On this occasion, we are sorry to inform you that we will no longer represent you in this claim.
However, this does not in any way affect your right to continue with the claim yourself or through a third party.
Please note that you will not be charged for the work we have carried out in your case so far.
Your file will now be deleted from our system.
Thank you.
Regards,

Oh well - at least it's closure. I hope they don't still think they have any claim on your subsequent success, as per their T&Cs (how would they even know?). You're best off shot of them, if that's all they've achieved in the last year.
Go to the facebook page Monarch Complaints, and ask them for advice - they can recommend a good lawyer, I reckon ...0 -
I too have used Sky mediator, I initially made a claim at the end of Dec 2012, I didn't hear anything for 10months even after repeatedly send emails and trying to call them, they stated that the case would be taken to court. Again 4 months past which took us into 2014, when they asked for a number of documents but when trying to call I could not get through. In March I received confirmation that my claim was successful and British Airways had offered 250euros compensation. I signed the agreement and was told a member of the team would contact me in 24hours to explain how I could obtain the money, this has yet to happen and all attempts to contact Sky mediator has failed. All calls either say line busy or the line goes dead. I think they have probably used me to get the payout from BA and will now just keep the whole amount.
Does anyone know how or who to report these guys to? Its an absolute scam and I would advise anyone to stay clear of these scammers.0 -

Not sure as they appear to operate outside the scope of UK law/trading standards, etc..
Have you tried posting on Facebook? (Nothing too confrontational, I would suggest.) Some public comment might stir them to action. They may be very inefficient but I would be surprised if they were operating fraudulently.0 -
Yes we too are involved with sky mediator, just like previous bloggers it has been going on since last August 2013 and has been passed onto the french legal company, we haven't had any replies or information regarding the proceedings and when we tried to phone the number was unobtainable. We are starting to suspect that this company might not be legitimate but did research on the net and read good reports. Will continue to try contacting ,have just sent another e'mail. will let the forum know how we get on. Very worrying as they have copies of passports and tickets.0
