Somebody Stop ME!!!!

Hi all, sorry gonna have a rant:mad:

Sitting in my study at home trying to work, having a nightmare day due to three lenders all putting their interest rates up, 1 particular lender has increased rates twice in 48 hrs:mad: Subsequently all the work i've done over last three days has to be binned and done again, AAAAAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!

So in my self alloted lunch hour i have

1) Gone to the local shop, bought runners world magazine, dairy milk fruit and
nut and large bottle of coke
2) Walked up to farmers market, bought 2 lots of pick and mix from sweet stall (posted one to my mum and ate one in 5 minutes!!)
3) Bought lb of cherries, 2lb carrots for DP, dozen eggs and massive punnett of cherry toms.

think this was all comfort shopping of which, having returned home i am really annoyed about. I am now back at work in the study but have eaten the chocolate, drunk half the coke (don't forget the sweets) and now the cherries are winking at me too!
(thankgod carrots are for DP, wouldn't ever deprive him elase they may be gone shortly to!!! GAHHH!)

Can someone please slap me, stop me from eating and drinking rubbish due to a bad day and tell me ways to avert the comfort shopping also.

(Farmers market produce came to £4.50 which is cheaper than supermarket but i bought a magazine for goodness sake!!!!)

Hope you are all having a slightly better day,

(on plus side found out outstanding balance on Nrock loan £1500 lower than i thought:j )

lots of hugs
P

You fell of the wagon. take a deep breath and get back on.

Well done for spotting it and keeping the damage small.

    Don't Panic P!!!

Just take a deep breath and next time post here before going shopping!! Junk food will only make you feel better for a short space of time. Everything will be ok, just give it all time to sink in.

But as RAS says at least the damage was small, I'm sure once upon a time it would have been much much worse.

Pania- big hugs honey. Like others have said - it's a small slip, you sound like you could have done some proper damage!! the mag you will love and spend time on later - perhaps you could look into one of the sites you can get a runners world mag sub for points (ipoints, mutual points, tesco clubcard, nectar etc)?
Don't beat yourself up too much - we've all done it and I promise you, I've done a lot worse in the old comfort shopping :D

hmmmm, new look and next when i worked at the wharf, cherries and chocolate today!! suppose that a bit better. Have rolled the magazine up and walloped myself round the head with it, will take back later as i feel guilty now!!(i'll pretend i already had that issue!!;-) )

Feel fat now, put the coke away and the cherries, going to do two application forms then send myself off for a run it think.

Keep it small and acheivable hey, some of those baby steps.
Doesn't help i posted on the house renting and selling board couple of days ago, some tw** has posted after mine completely slating everything i said and implying i was out to get the OP repossessed!!! !!!!!!!!!!

have vented my spleen on there so feeling a touch better now. thanks for the support guys. :-(

    I agree with Sea....

I once spent over £75 on clinique products in one of those moods.... So anything under £10 isn't really that bad.
