I'm sure it hasn't escaped your notice that whenever one of the "longer serving" members responds to a first time thread (a newbie) then the Debt Charities details are invariably listed or referred to in the opening paragraph.
I've decided to put them in my signature for that reason.:)
I'm getting fed up with cutting and pasting the info.:oFree/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Great advice TJ.
I'm guilty of not suggesting the debt advice places at times (i think) and i don't know why cos the CCCS were brilliant, also National Debtline.
Will have it ready to copy n paste when needs be from now on.The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter

"Dealing With Debt" on the UK side of The Motley Fool is also a good source of info... there is actually a professional who posts on there and he helps people, not only by posting but sometimes by doing their paperwork and taking them under his wing (free of charge, God bless him.) He saved our butts. I won't give his name because I don't know if he'd like that, but he posts there a lot and he posts GOOD advice. The man knows what he's talking about.:beer:0
