  • I am so pleased, I got a lovely per una summer dress in the Charity shop for the princely sum of £3.50. Couldn't believe my luck when it fitted :)
  • Well just brought lottery tickets... Too fixed and roofers son is coming during the week to cut up fallen tree and take for firewood, so one less job to do.
Now just to decide what I'm wearing tonight for our meal out
    Stay safe peeps.

    What a fantastic bargain! :j

Oldest DD got engaged about a week ago and getting married next February so we are all on a healthy eating regime. I don't want to start looking at outfits for myself until I have an idea of the weight and size I can maintain, rather than starving myself to lose weight quickly then putting it all back again.

Made a low cal version of fish , chips and peas for lunch after doing a big shop at allidees. We had an awful job trying to get parked the other week at York so tried a more out of the way shop today and found parking much better. I even managed to get to the frozen food shop and stock up on basics like fish for recipes so very pleased.

Might nip out to local supermarket later to look for YS stuff if weather is not too bad and make soup for tonight.

    Hugs to all

    Afternoon all
Well our time out here this time round is quickly running out. We set off on the journey back a week on Wednesday, hoping that thing may have picked up before we get back. Spending the weekend in London so I can join in the Hen Party for DIL to be. My outfit is bought, and hung safely at home. Didn't manage to lose so called it quits after Xmas and purchased one in my size. Will try to lose a little, between now and the wedding, just so it fits smoothly IYKWIM. Usually I manage to lose out here, but it hasn't worked out.
Glorious weather ATM, and looking not bad for the next week. Hope it holds out for the half term folks.
Dinner tonight is LO tomatoey & Veg sauce with Mest Ald, and Jacket Spud for DH, and LO broccoli & Cauliflower with Turkey steak for me. Friends coming round later to play cards.
Enjoy your fur baby LW, camelot think you need to hide a key in your car! or with a neighbour (if you know one well enough yet)((hugs)), spoons, etc., all round. Take. Are everyone, stay safe & dry. DG

HESTER – why on earth did you have to get up just because hubby was gona get up? Not sure I'd be doing that. Good job I'm single I guess.

CAMELOT – one of the worse things that can happen and so annoying. My neighbours have a key for my house, but there was one time when I'd left the key in the door the other side and their key just wouldn't work. Ended up having to break in the back door!

Absolutely nothing done OS today as I stayed down my mums last night and I'm still here now. It's easier to get to work from her house and I'm working tomorrow. Bit of OS there as I'm earning money and cos my ex has the girls, I don't have to pay for childcare!

My house is actually reasonably tidy at the moment (spent hours cleaning as my brother's new girlfriend was coming round for the first time yesterday – actually that's probably another reason I'm hiding out at mum's house!).

So it's really nice just slobbing around and doing absolutely diddly squat. On my 9th episode of catch up Corrie!
