You possibly need to work on your customer relations 'get off your high horse madam. '? I do hope you treat your buyers, even those claiming a loss with more respect.

None of the blame game matters at all, your buyer won't care as all they want is their goods. The last thing you want is to come across as a bit flakey as you will tee them off and they will open a case. Ideally keeping a buyer on your side with reassurances and a definite and reasonable time frame for refund will work much better.

making your buyer nervous will just push them into opening a claim, and whilst that is not a danger in itself, it does start to limit the time frame you have to deal with things.
I've just heard from my buyer - he's happy with the arrangement refund at the end of the month, I've then said voluntarily that if it comes to that I'll stick 25% on top for inconvenience. He sounds a nice guy. I am too and I don't want him put out.

I didn't treat you with respect because you said I was blaming everyone. I'm sorry - if RM lose a parcel , that is their fault not mine and I've not heard explanation for that comment yet. My comment about high horses was based on that because it's really easy to judge someone else's situation ,and a little harder to reflect first before deciding I'm some kind of blamer. I get enough blamer personality types at work and they're always the ones who need to look a little nearer home so I'm actually very up for taking responsibility - but fact is - in this particular case, RM are to blame- don't feel guilty for saying that. Don't feel like one who blames everyone else for saying that. Two stark choices , me or RM, and as I don't work for RM and took it to their doorstep in good faith, who else is there?

    cheers

Does this mean buyer has already opened a case?
no, I've resolved it without a need for that - phew. I did it by staying in touch and talking to him - plus providing image of tracking that shows I posted same day, with tracking no on. So he knows I'm genuine and not taking the mick

    regards
