Experian refunded fraud protection

Howdy,
Thought I'd let you know that it is possible on request to opt out of fraud insurance on Experian which drops the price to £9.99 and they've refunded past payments. I don't know how important this form of insurance is, but I'm personally of the mindset that I don't really care for it. I only wanted to see my credit report.
I'm aware this may be common knowledge but I don't have time to trawl through posts. Just thought someone might appreciate this.
Also, is anyone going to proffer that this fraud protection is in fact worthwhile?

For the majority of people, it's not worthwhile.
At the same time, for some, it is.

When I wanted to "see my credit report" I paid £2 for a statutory report.Everyonewantsmymoney wrote: »I only wanted to see my credit report.
Your post reads like you've been paying for a subscription for a while? Were you aware there were cheaper options?0 -
I used the free trial and then the £2 report. Had no issues with cancelling either. One phone call and a couple of minutes.
I dont think they even tried to tempt me to stay. I had read of a few people having issues.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
