By re-heating I meant when I have defrosted the curry from the freezer.I make the curry with either veg or left over bits of chicken that I have stripped from the carcus. Its cooked along with the spices, passata, veg and anything else I can find and once cooked and cooled down I freeze in portions. When I take it from the freezer (normally the night before and I put the container into the fridge to defrost) once defrosted then i zap it in the microwave or tip into a saucepan and reheat it throughly(I like my food piping hot anyway )then pour over my cooked rice.

I think I must be over cautious, as I would count the original roasting of the chicken as the first cook, the making up of the curry as being the reheating. Surely if you freeze and re-heat again it's one time too many? I seriously think I must have got it wrong all these years - sorry Jackie if I have missed the point.Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

Today I'm making more soup using 2 chicken carcasses from the freezer and all of the veg left over from last week that is starting to look a bit ropey, the soup should last us 2 lunches for the 4 of us. I'm lucky that we are close enough to the school for the kids to come home for lunch.
