I have gone on to Equifax site and found link about 30 days free trial but I can see nothing to say I am allowed to cancel after the 30 day period.0

Click the link above then click on the "Order Now" button under "Special Offer". Scroll down to the "Terms of Use" pane towards the bottom of the form:
"Cancellation during Trial Period: No refund is made as no is charge made on your credit or debit card. "0 -
Cheers dude, got my credit report today without costing a penny, wahey!!!!0

Many thanks for this - very detailed information for free.Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Has anyone investigated HOW to cancel?
I know with Experian there was a specific procedure you had to follow (by phone).
It's best to know what the procedure is.
Sorry if it's obvious - I didn't see it.0 -
Again from the "Terms of Use":
"On the last day of your subscription, we will charge your credit card for the then-current price of the Subscription Product and it will be renewed unless you cancel within a thirty (30) day period by notifying us. You may notify us by first logging in to the MyEquifax Member Centre. Once logged in, click on the "Contact Us" button and you can contact the Equifax Customer Care team at the telephone number or email address listed on that page."0 -
The only problem with Equifax is that they seem to get far fewer hits from companies doing a credit check, compared to Experian.
I got my free report today and it has NO searches in the last 12m which is curious as I have taken out a Cahoot 0% loan and 5 x 0% cards in that time!Ethical moneysaver0 -
My credit report show 50+ searches on Experian vs 10+ on Equifax.
I know nothing0 -
Oh yeah Craig, lots! Nobody should attempt it unless they know what they're doing.I know nothing0
