Have I missed deals for a Note 2?
I cancelled my O2 contract as soon as the 24 months expired, as they couldn't offer me anything at all competitive to persuade me to start again.
I did the sensible thing, moved my number to three on PAYG (seems remarkably cheap ATM, specially as I'm a light user), and decided to sit & wait for a sweet deal to come along from somewhere.
I would REALLY like a Samsung Note 2, and expected someone to offer a reasonable priced deal sometime as the note 3 is out ( hoping for £20 ish for 200 mins, some texts, 500mb - could even live with 250mb and I might cough up a few £s as an upfront payment).
But instead it looks like they've all just dropped the note 2, no stock clearances
anywhere.
So just asking, is there a deal out there I've missed ??

Cough up £350 and use it on Ovivo - and it will be (£350+£20)/24=£15.50 p.m.... and I might cough up a few £s as an upfront payment

What's the point in borrowing £370 and paying £110 interest (30% APR) over 2 years?
Chitter-chatter with 250+500+500 for £6 can be an alternative to Ovivo making it £21.40 p/m.0 -

I knew someone would ...
I don't have the full £350 spare to cough up just now thanks, and don't want Ovivo anyways. I may not use a lot of data, but when I do I want it to be reliable, and I don't want to wait for an ad I didn't want to see to load before I can go to the page I DID want to see.
Thanks for the advice anyways ...I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.

If you can't spare £350 for the phone, then how can you spare £480 (=24*20)for the same phone on contract?
If you don't keep throwing money away on contract phones, you would have more money to spend on other things.
And if you are so wealthy you don't care about throwing money away, then why not donate to charity rather than make donations to phone companies?0 -
You can buy it outright for only £300 (including delivery) on Amazon.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0098HNSIW/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&psc=1&s=electronics
Or £254.62 (+£3.50 postage and packaging) new on ebay.

Are you sure you want to pay over £220 more just for the privilege of having on an inflexible contract?0 -
This is a good deal http://www.e2save.com/mobile-phone/contract/samsung/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-2-Grey-Refurbished.html?network=orange&tariffcode=G17TEOCT13 The tmobile one you get 1GB data0

I agree with the other, buy something outright. Note 2 is a dated phone now, I'd get a Moto G instead, much nicer and more holdable.0

If you are looking to buy Note 2 then check Ebay or CEX store.
OR
Buy Moto G which is £100 PAYGWhat happens if you push this button?0 -

The Note 2 may be older, but it still whips the Moto G's butt...
