Some competitions state that you can only enter once - so if something has already been posted, there is a chance they could enter again and be disqualified. By someone posting that it has already been posted, it means you can check the thanks (how most people keep count of which comps they have already entered) and can stop you entering twice.

Hi Chris, by littleholly notifying us that it had been previously posted 67 mser's could have potentially disqualified thenselves, that the only she reason she has done it.

When i clicked littlehollys link i knew i had missed the original post, so have entered yours and thanked you.

Not being funny or anything but I think if someone entered the comp before they would have remembered if they did it twice and also everyone knows your not allowed to do a comp twice or else it wouldn't be fair.

I enter so many online competitions that I do not necessarily remember which ones I have entered. Lots of them are similar, so I rely on the 'Thanks' function to check if I have entered
