Interflora warning

Please read the Beware costly subscriptions when shopping online news story for help.
I am messaging to highlight an internet scam that I and many others have fallen for.
I ordered some flowers off the Interflora website. At the end of the buying
process I was offered £10 off my next purchase if I ticked a box - so I did.
Apparently in the small print it said that in ticking this box my personal
information would be sent to a comapany http://shopperdiscountsandrewards.co.uk
(a subsiduary of Webloyalty) and they could do anything they liked with it
(although I didn't read this, foolishly). Since then shopperdiscountsandrewards
have been removing £8 a month from my account! I rang them up and cancelled and
managed to get a refund by getting shirty. However I am aware that lots of
people would not notice this.
Check the responses to my blog post on the subject - many people have also
fallen for this.
link removed BG Tine
I would appreciate it if you could publicise this scam in someway as we at the
blog have already been contacted by http://shopperdiscountsandrewards.co.uk who
didn't sound too pleased with us
"Webloyalty protects its reputation and monitors the blogosphere to ensure

Hope you can help with this.

I have removed the link to your blog I'm afraid as links to personal sites are not allowed on MSE. I have also moved your thread to the Vent, bent and heaven sent forums.
Thanks

Yep - just noticed shopperdisc.co.uk debit on my CC bill.
First time I've been caught out by a "scheme" like this. On the plus side, at least with their name on the CC receipt it was easy to track. Also, the Customer Services lady (Carla) was quite polite even though it took a while to get the monies refunded.
However, shopperdisc did claim they sent many emails to me which has not been the case. The cancellation email came through immediately.
I will be getting in touch with Interflora to tell them I will be not using them again. I may not be so polite this.
