Phone repairs whilst still on contract?
I bought my phone in August last year, Sony Ericcson, and the little joystick thing seems to be faulty.
It won't go down which makes it really hard to use the phone!!
If I take it back to the shop I bought it from do they have to replace or repair it? And if they repair it do they give us temporary phones?
I haven't a clue having never been in this situation before? Has any else experienced it?
Thanking you in anticipation.

you can try a cpw with onsite repairs who should be able to do it quicker even if you havent got it from them0 -

cpw is Carphone Warehouse.
If you take your proof of purchase they will repair it for free as long as it's in 12 month warranty.
Ring your local Carphone Warehouse store and see where the nearest onsite repair centre is - they can usually fix in a couple of days (depending on what they have got on!)0
