Just dropping in to say that DD's move has gone pearshaped due to an *ss of a landlord :mad::mad::mad: who decided to withhold they keys until "probably" Wednesday - totally overlooking that the Estate Agent & DD/SIL had everything sorted to move this weekend:eek::eek:.
DD is having hysterics - but as they are 2.5 hours drive away, all we can do is take out the furniture, return the van we had hired and whistle for a refund.
Oh, and DD/SIL have to be out of current flat by Friday as new tenants are moving in on Saturday 22nd.
On the way north to try and hold it together - we have a hotel booked for the weekend.
The landlord has had good references, job checks and 6 months rent in advance by the way - the estate agent is upset about it as she trusted him.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -

Morning all,
Happy Valentines day to you all.
I'm sitting here with my hair coated in peanut oil. My hair is getting longer and dryer on the ends so I thought I'd give it a bit of a pamper session. I just hope no one comes to the front door.
Spent part of the evening last night renaming photos in my Photobucket account. I was bored, nothing interested me on telly and I knew it had to be done so I went for it.
Chores for today started but I gave up half way. Still, its early yet.
My friends husband and son came through the donation/transplant op ok though they were in theatre/recovery most of the day. At last they can start to move forward. Being attatched to a dialysis machine overnight is no way to live (but it beats the alternative).
Oh and its raining again.

Thank you all for the kind words about my broken elbow , unfortunately it is my right elbow and i am right handed so is proving pretty difficult at times:mad::mad:, it is really painful at times , hey ho soon be mended. In the meantime i am being treated to 3 free wash and blowdries a week by my daughters friend who is at college learning the trade of hair and beauty so there is a bonus to breaking it;);)
Dry but very chilly here today , so have the dogs curled up next to me on the sofa with a fleece blanket , hot mug of tea and some cherry and coconut cake having a surf .
Dinner is sweet and sour chicken
hope everyone has a lovely valentines day :smileyhea:smileyhea0 -
Happy valentines day all x
Dh and I don't usually celebrate with cards etc but tomorrow night when all the kids are elsewhere we will snuggle up with a Mr T's 2 for a £10 meal. As long as we are together I'm happy:D
Molly congrats to your son on passing his driving test, my daughter has tried 6 times she is so clever passed the theory no problem but nerves always get the better of her, hopefully one day.
Judi glad they came through the op ok, my cousin and her nephew went through the same thing about 6 months ago, but doing really well
Camelot hugs for your DD that sounds painful
Just done my morning exercises. I've got the Tramadol down to twice a day from. 4 times but just had to ring for a prescription. Honestly I feel like a drug addict but just can't manage the pain without them yet.
Another one needing food shopping, a busy night for us as everyone is home on Friday. Have a good day xxStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

What a horrid day and it is blooming cold
Fire is lit and I am going to hibernate in front of it, what a difference to yesterday which was bright and sunny.
Saw GP this morning and she says that I have lost some of my peripheral vision on the right side so she has now referred me to the hospital, it has only taken them nearly four blooming weeks since they got the letter which was taken in by hand  Lord knows how long I will have to wait for an appointment at the hospital and I asked if she had received the letter from the physiotherapist and she hasn't, she said just keep phoning the surgery and she will see me again when it comes in
Car is playing up as well so it is booked in to the garage for tomorrow, won't know anything until Monday though. It is due for the MOT in three weeks so they are going to do a pre MOT check for us as well.
We don't really do Valentines we both think that it is a rip off, but we are having steak, mushrooms, HM chips and salad tonight with a bottle of wine, we bought DS some steak as well so he will join us for dinner :rotfl:how romantic.
Well done Molly's DS :T
Off for a warm in front of the fire
BFN xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Afternoon all
Molly, congrats to your son, we're ok here floodwise, I think the water is due to rise again over the weekend.
Congrats to NPM.
There was a terrible tragedy here last night, 2 cyclists run over & killed, both local men, they were hit by a car that was being followed by a police car.
I've had beautiful flowers from hubby, he is so good to me, we're having a takeaway tonight.
Both my daughters visited y'day & I was able to feel Edward kicking & then DD2 announced that she is pregnant too, I'm over the moon, that will bring the grandchild head count to 9!!
Stay safe & dry everyone.
Hugs HesterChin up, Titus out.0
