New customers only and almost certainly the limited download one so they can charge you for excess downloads on a regular basis. If you don't exceed the meagre allowance then you didn't need FTTC anyway.forgotmyname wrote: »Dont BT have an even better off going? I spotted something on TV about infinity being £7.50 a month?0 -

Yeah I never understood why there is limited usage on fibre broadband packages. I mean isn't that the whole point in getting fibre. Doesn't seem worth the extra just for slightly faster web browsing (that's if its even noticeable).0 -

I think you'll find your move worthwhile. I moved a couple of months back and have spent my £100

Plusnet is a BT Group company, yes. But it's still run independently, and all the better for it.No free lunch, and no free laptop

If you do get any issues try their forum first http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php (you'll need to register). They seem to answer and fix issues quite quickly so it saves waiting on the phone support which isn't all that good right now as they've expanded the userbase faster than their support but they are opening an additional call centre sometime soon.0
