Why is it that some people have no morals when it comes to parking, but suddenly find morals when it comes to appealing the invoices/charges/fines?

How do you stop immoral people from parking on private land?
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
    2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
    3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?

Quail eggs from Waitrose. On a hot day, the albumen will bake nicely into the paint, and the moron will think a bird dropped it. Obviously don't use a chicken egg.

Because you own a car park ?
Same reason you lock your front door or your car to keep people out.

    What a strange question???

To make sure that there are empty spaces when you want one for yourself.

I thought that would have been obvious.

It's exactly like asking why you should shut and lock your front door rather than leaving it wide open when you go on holiday.

Don't misunderstand me - I'm completely on your side - no-one should be parking on your ground that you don't want there.

Unfortunately - there are people who will.

So a simple post barrier or a chain and padlock will keep out all but the most stupid and selfish.

No need for an over-kill parking company at all.

As for the 'why should people have to' - would you let your wife / sister / mother travel alone on the London or Paris underground at night wearing their favourite expensive jewellery, in full sight.

You can wish all you want for an ideal world with no 'naughty' people - but you must take steps to protect what you do not want to be abused.

    Ridiculous answers!

Simple fact is it's their land, their rules. Why should some feel like they can abuse it?! If it's not yours you don't take it.

We lock doors to our house as a preventative measure against the scum in society. And because when they do get it we stand to loose more, since you cannot steal a plot of land! But we shouldn't have to lock our doors should we?! Based on this logic if we didn't lock our doors then your house would be fair play to thieves - but this isn't the case. Or if you left your car open when you unlocked your house door do you think it's okay for somebody to grab your shopping?!

A land owner shouldn't have to put barriers up to protect their land from abuse!

In your home you can use reasonable force to protect your property - if somebody parks on your land you can do !!!!!! all!

Bet if you was the land owner and couldn't park there because a bunch of shoppers you'd soon chirp up... what rights do I have, what can I do.
