I've now referred two friends on separate days, and despite receiving a message saying I'd receive an email within 1 working day, I've not heard anything (the first referral was last weekend). How long does it normally take for the email to be received? Have they changed the process so the email goes directly to the person being referred rather than the person referring?
I told both friends I'd get an email within 1 working day so if Nationwide can't meet this, it doesn't give potential new customers much reassurance of the customer service they will receive0 -
Took about a week to receive mine I think. But the email has nothing useful in it anyway; for some reason they're not using referral links so I guess we just have to trust that their system matches the person's details with the ones we put in the referral forms and pays out.0

I was referred the other day, and the email arrived to the referrer within a day. There wasn't much point in the email though, because it just said "Thanks" and here's a link to the T+Cs on the website.
So I hope their system is clever enough to match my details with those submitted in the referral form.0
