Hi all,
MSE Newbie here! a year ago we took advantage of a 50% code to join Sky so was paying £26.50 per month for 16mb BB, Weekend Calls, and Entertainement Extra, after paying £119.LR up front, this also acame with the obligatory "free" multi-room box. (In essence £36.42 per month)
I called for a renewal and was advised £59.00 was the best they could do - Cue call to disconnections team, I had to call back a couple of times as the offers were better but no where near the £26.50/£36.42 we were paying, it got to the point we were seriously considering Freeview + TalkTalk BB.
On my last call was offered £30.90 made up off Entertainment Package £20.00 per month, Free 16mb BB with weekend only calls, and £10.90 pm line rental. Had to lose the 2nd box subscription but to be honest it was hardly used and probably only for BBC1 or ITV anyhow.
Think we are onto a winner here, but wanted to know if, anyone has had a better offer, so we know if we did well or should have had a little more persistance, and/or offer a little encouragement to anyone else in this situation.
