I bought this on ebay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171235068004?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

As you can see, no leads or headphones included, so I bought this

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370996641688?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

Its arrived, but I cant charge the ipod up via the usb or by plugging the usb lead into my iphone plug adaptor.

This is the right lead isn't it?

Ive contacted the seller, they haven't responded.

The seller has offered me a refund if I pay the return postage, I guess I will need to use a special trackable & signed for method?
Hardly seems fair to be sent broken goods & have to pay refund.....

Can anyone confirm, I am using the right lead aren't I?
  • Hi there, if you wish to charge your ipod then you'll need something like this Link - this will only charge tho when plugged into a computer.

if you want to charge via a wall socket then youll need something like this

    Hope this helps :)

  • Sorry, in answer to you question you currently have the wrong lead for charging.

Thank you for replying, but the ipod ive bought (please see link) doesn't have a long skinny socket like my iphone 4s. All it has is a 3.5mm socket.

There's oodles of advice on charging, and on 'checking battery status' for iPods at Apple's website, on Apple-specific forums, and other places. Such as

    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1510

How long did you charge it for?

As its so cheap, I wondered if their was a different but similar one I should have bought.
