I have sold DVD's on eBay, for anything from 50p to £5 or more.

Generally, the newer releases seller quicker and for a higher price, but most DVDs will sell in the end.

But it's not a very quick way of doing it. There's the photoing, listing, packing and taking to the post office. And relisting a few times if they don't sell

You can go through the laborious task of checking them all on Amazon, it will become fairly apparent which are worth selling.

If you have a smart phone or iphone you can use an Amazon app that scans the barcodes via the camera.

In my personal experience about 1 in 15 are worth selling. There's never a way of knowing what is worth money and sought after. Often the ones you think are worthless will be worth more than ones that cost the most.

  • On ebay 100, 4-5 year old blockbuster films will get you at most £30-40 before fees....not worth it

Box sets seem to do well. Films vary a lot.

It's ok money for the effort. Also, it's a decent way to boost your seller feedback quickly, so worth doing for people who may later have higher value items to sell.
