    Hello all!
    NPM congratulations!!!!
This being on holiday is a tiring occupation, am sitting here shattered and have done very little! Went out to a nearby shopping centre as a distraction because I have stopped smoking, and whilst out got my brows tinted and waxed. Have a chilli bubbling away for tonight, we are having DD's birthday dinner tonight as the BF has taken tomorrow off work to take her out for the day. Tomorrow my new friend is coming here for dinner, just the two of us with my lamb curry and a bottle of vino! Right, better go stir the chilli and see what we are having with it!

  • NPM many congratulations honey, I know you may feel a bit 'oh Gosh' about it, but its a wonderful thing to bring a new life into the world and I 'm sure the new little one will be as loved and as cherished as Noah and Asher are.

Weather looks like its going to be another dreadful storm on its way again,it seems never ending doesn't it.

It will be nice just to be able to wear something thats light and summery I seem to have been in winter clothes for months.
Oh well the nights are at least drawing out a bit
    have a good evening everyone

Judi - Hope your friends get on ok.
BBrain - Good news on your DLA. Glad the hospital apt was ok.
jools - Have a good evening tomorrow.

Absolutely shattered today, felt rough this morning but rallied round this afternoon. Will get an early night so hopefully feel better tomorrow.

Need to seriously look at my diet, seem to be eating far too much rubbish. I have bought loads of fruit, just need to eat it now!

    Take care. XX

    NPM, many congratulations.

Well it went off as well as can be expected. The celebrant was really good (we had her for dad as well and she really does her homework) and the service was lovely.

Big bro said his bit in the pub and I tried to tune him out - ironically the music playing in the background as "You're just somebody that I used to know", which is how I feel about him.

I'm very tired now so I think there will be snacks for dinner and an early night.

    Good evening everybody,

This is the first chance all day to get on here with one thing and another. We had some damage to the roof ,a ridge tile came off and bounced down smashing tiles as it went.We have a very steep pitch on the roof so the ridge tile will be a pain but the slates are near the gutter so thats not as bad.Part of next doors tree fell on the drive but we got away lightly really.

Been minding DGS this afternoon while DIL2b had an appointment,& they were having a new mattress delivered too.We got that upstairs when she got back and made the bed up-they had an old mattress given to them by a relative when they moved in their house but they've both been having awful backache so got a new one when they saw a good deal.We came back here for tea,I'd put something in the slow cooker luckily as we didnt know what time the mattress would be delivered.

    Congratulations NPM,lovely news :j
Snoozer, glad the funeral went as well as it could.

    Stay safe all x
