Parking eye ticket

I have just received a letter from parking eye with a £70 fine for being 11mins over the authorised stay...I seriously cannot believe what i am reading...11MINUTES...I actuality didn't know there was a limit but my brother works there and says there's large signs at the entrance. I had tangent my kids to their swimming lesson then went into aldi to do my weeklt shop... If I hadn't of been kind and considerate and let shoppers with fewer items go in front I would of vacated on time...

Any help appreciated, I haven't appealed yet wanting to see what people advise

Bottom line these days is look out for #1. Wrong I know but thats how it works now - you don't think Parking Eye will care about your kindness do you? Of course they won't.
