How to return unrequested Three Dongle
I ordered a PAYG Three dongle online (cost £35), but they have sent me two of them (and charged for two).
I know I have the legal right to return the unrequested one, but is there a way of doing it without spending a fortune on phone calls and hours going round the houses. I have tried phoning them and they just pass you from pillar to post.
I would prefer not to have to pay return postage as legally they should organise this, but given how difficult it is to return items, I am prepared to pay return postage just to get rid off it. Obviously I will sent it recorded delivery and keep all records, so that I can take them to court or the ombudsman if they refuse to refund me. The unwanted dongle is in an unopened package.
I have used the WEQ4U app in making calls so far, so at least I have not had to pay for their 0844 and 0843 numbers.
Needless to say I will never use them again and I am really glad it was just a PAYG dongle rather than a contract.
