Your download speed 12 Mb Your upload speed 0.3 Mb
Is this bad, my contract is due for renewal with plusnet, not sure if I should change.

1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0 -

Your download speed 12 Mb Your upload speed 0.3 Mb, you tell us but you don't say how long it takes, an hour. a minute, a second?
You would be better reading your router line statistics than using a speed tester. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Your speeds indicate you are on ADSL2+ Unless your download speed as measured by a reliable speed tester such as the BT one linked to above are significantly lower than your router stats show you can achieve then changing supplier may save you a few pennies (or may not) but is unlikely to bring better speeds. To do that you'd need to change technology over to FTTC or cable if either are available to you.
If you do decide to change supplier for any reason then make sure you do so through a cashback site.0 -

So for adsl2+ the enabled ones as above to get similar speeds , plus of course BT and (I assume) Plusnet being a subsidiary of BT , this may help if you decide to switch, but contact the one's you wish to consider and see what they think you could achieve. I also noted that there is some FTTC availabilty on that exchange which give you a chance of higher speeds (at a higher cost of course)4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex .
