Anyone else tried the Post Office Home Phone package (£120 line rental per year if paid up front - free weekend calls? We're hoping to see cost saving by switching from BT and would be interested in hearing from other's who have tried this service.
We havent opted for the broadband bit yet but would be interested in feedback on the broadband package...

PO is actually now reselling talk talk.
You will find the combined package with TT cheaper than the PO offering, if TT floats your boat.0 -
Hi
Thank you for your reply,
I decided to stick with Plusnet for broadband as I have had several years of good service from them.0 -
Do they offer a BT line to allow you to keep your plusnet?
(There's no mention of them allowing customers to use other ISPs on their website's "broadband options)
(Though maybe talktalk don't have a presence at your local exchange?)0 -
After a change of heart I decided to go with Plusnet for phone as well as retain the broadband service I have had with them for 5 years so far (with no problems).
The broadband/phone package comes in at around £18.40 per month for unlimited broadband and "Anytime" calls incl line rental.
Line rental up front for 1 year was £131, "Anytime" calls £5 per month, unlimited broadband £2.50 per month (special offer).
I think that's quite a good deal. - hopefully the phone switch will be seamless.0
