I have not read all the posts but would ask you a question that my friend asked me when I was in a similar situation. If you were single could you be any more unhappy than your are now?

MXW: That's a good question really and one that I've asked myself constantly over the last 10 months. It is possible to be very lonely in a relationship. It's just all so confusing cos all my friends and sister and urging me to move on and spend most of their time calling him rude names that I wouldn't like to repeat on here. It makes it hard for me.My mum has been very supportive but I think that even she is getting a bit sick of it all.I've just been to the bank and got the bankers draft for the 1st months rent and the deposit. The appointment with the letting agent is at 5.30 so I guess I've got until then to make my final decision.

You already know what you need to do, find the courage and go....

And just think- you will be able to paint it any colour you like, put pictures anywhere you like on the walls without having to fill in the holes before you leave.;)
