Lower gas bills and a grant to help pay for it :j
Our older boiler was condemned when it developed a CO leak. I was glad to see the back of it :rotfl:
Unfortunately I still haven't filled, skimmed and painted the part of my kitchen where it went missing from
Took a lot of phone calls to actually make sure we were entitled to the grant as I thought it was only for people on CTC with income below certain threshold which we were above.
But seems to be harder to treat properties are discretionary. It was something we didn't expect. We just booked for a survey and next thing we knew, they phoned to say when would we like new boiler fitted. At first was going to be totally free, but funding has been cut last couple of weeks so having to pay few hundred but well worth it for what we are getting. :money:
Hey we can compare boiler holes when mine is done.

Thanks dipdap, I dropped DD3 to college and had to stop for bread and milk on the way home and got a phone call from Mr TS to say it couldn't be a straight replacement.

Drove all the way home having minor panic attack, walked in the door with tears in eyes how stupid is that.
The plumbers have been really accommodating and talked every option through with me so I know exactly where every pipe, cable will be running etc, that's OCD for you. I had it in my head what was happening and it changed and like you I am not good with that.
I am sure I will be fine once it's done, I wish I didn't feel the way I do as it is so silly. I have shut myself in the lounge.
Oh Tiny, hope the work is minimum and that it's over as fast as can be :A

You did make me chuckle earlier zippy when you put "thriller" instead of filler. I think we should all adopt this new Elite speak. :rotfl:
Although has always been a thrill down my way to actually find a flump in stock.
