    Morning all,

The plumbers are here, no heating, doors wide open.

Have had bit of a panic attack as I need new pipes and the OCD in me just wanted the boiler to stay where it was but our original gas pipes are not the correct bore and seems this new boiler needs a drain pipe too. So rather than have them running past my back door step I have to have the water pipes running inside my kitchen as boiler will have to be opposite side of the room.

I'm not good with these sort of things, other choice was having all the upstairs floorboards up and not sure I could cope with that either. I wish I was the sort of person who didn't give two hoots about this sort of thing. :o

Have electric at the moment but looks like I will not soon as to be on the safe side while they are drilling new hole they are going to disconnect power. Oh dear not looking forward to the dust. :(

Phew, well I'm worn out now :o Boys have been in the garden all morning whilst I was cleaning. Been doing a load of jobs that I never get around to. There is so much mould on and around the windows in our house at this time of year :( I did the boys rooms and the bathroom last week and they are still clear :) Today I've done the kitchen window, patio door and the front and back doors inside and out. My wrist is objecting to all of the scrubbing so have had to stop for now. Looks much better though and am hopeful we've found a way to keep it at bay - think I was trying to be too MSE :o Just two more windows to do.

    morning all
    hope everyone is well

cant remember who asked about the eurosports channel staying on when you cancel your sky and just use it as a free view box. i said id check and get back to you. No sorry can confirm we dont get that channel as one of the freeview ones.

It was me. Thanks so much for checking. Looks like we're stuck with Sky then as we like to watch the cycling, which is mostly on Eurosport.

    Morning peeps. :)

Been feeling a bit down for the last few days. So thankyou Lutzi, that video really made me laugh. :)
Oh scamps, hope things pick up for you soon :A

Lutzi - the video was brilliant, I watched it last night. Well done, I'm going to be singing that round the shops each time now :T

Tigercub seems to be addicted to tangerines (or tambourines as my DS calls them). She's on her third one already (2 as a snack instead of toast this morning and now one after lunch). No more in the fruit bowl luckily :rotfl:

    Hugs TS :(
I know how you feel, we had our bathroom retiled last month, with a new shower added and pipes boxed in (took them nearly 2 weeks to do and we couldn't use it for most of that time :( )
It was a family friend did it so had put some new lino down on the floor he had spare (this wasn't mentioned until a couple of days before the end).
It took me a couple of weeks to get used to it  I actually hated the look of the bathroom because I hadn't planned for the floor to be done (although it was lovely of him to do it for us :) ) I'm not very good with change :o
I'm happy with it all now though :j
