I'm writing a shopping list for later. I'm trying to work out my scribblings in my notebook :o Ive worked out most of them......except VT. I wonder what VT is? It's not vanilla twist because it's a scribbled list of items to buy, it's not velvet toilet rolls either........

    versus Tesco???

how about an experience gift, surfing lessons/ horse riding something like that? :D

I did wonder but he lives literally in the middle of no where and a lot of the experience activities look very tame compared to the climbing, walking, scrambling, kayayking that he does on a daily basis.

I am always checking Groupon and Living Social for offers but his area/county is not covered by either of them.

I'm in shock as ds3 new toilet cost £3,500 - it's getting put in today so soon back to 2 bathrooms:Tand the whole new bathroom upstairs only cost £3,000:o
Builders doing ds3 ramp into garden

Is that one of those that washes your bum and dries it for you ;)
I could seriously do with one of them, and think of how much toilet paper you would save:)
    Hope DS3 likes it.

You know I think it might be versus Ts? I don't usually write that though.....but it's the only thing that makes sense?
And after all that, my OH is 'not feeling well' so I'm not going shopping anyway :(

T is really having problems with their pricing of lip products lately...
The other day it was the chapsticks in boxes of 24 priced at £1 per box with individual sticks at 4.5p each....and now this one on the nivea.

My T wouldnt sell the box of 24 for £1 to me as there were only 22 in it...suddenly the manager wanted to withdraw the item from sale...it wasnt recognising the box barcode...but I did remonstrate my point and was "allowed " tp purchase 4 at 4p each...so 16p for 4 stwawberry chapsticks wasnt bad.

If the nivea follows the same as the chapsticks it might be better trying to dtd as the whole box barcode doesnt scan and the individual items scan at the higher price.

When I scanned a single chapstick they were indeed scanning at £1 rather than 4.5p...so possibly I should have gone down that route...but it takes an awful long time to use a chapstick up in our house and 24 would probably have seen me out!

My local has them at the tills and I did check the sel, it does infact read that a box of 24 is £1. Couldn't give it a go as 'party popper' was with me

mhoc at Christmas I bought my son a Mr T's giftcard and think the other was a giftcard for the cinema . When I give him the envelopes I was a bit worried because it didn't look like much but he was over the moon. HTH

Possible. He has a Morrisons and a Sainsburys but mostly he hangs out in Aldi.
Amazon gift card is a possibility though.
No cinema for about 50 miles though.
I did wonder about a local gym membership but he is a 10 mile round trip from the nearest town and he didn't even have gym membership when he lived at home. Even in the worst of weather he prefers to be out and about.
He does go bouldering a lot but not at the same places
